A Scuzi Cafe last week over Conversation dealt with:
A conversation on how much achievement in my career means to me, my company and our success. Also how this motivates me to strive even more and to help my colleagues achieve this too!
My sense of value, my purpose, vision and motivation in my organization.
My career. When my vision and purpose are linked to the company's vision and purpose, the value to the organization is enhanced and my motivation is increased!
An exercise to find the links of personal and company's vision and
purpose assisted in finding the synchronicity.
Next week a Scuzi Cafe on listening skills.
What are Scuzi Cafe's?
Guided, meaningful conversations that matter, in an informal setting, over coffee!
What makes a conversation brilliant? Is it the conversation? Is it the people involved in the conversation?
Is it the topic or subject matter that is important and relevant? Is it the underlying desire for all in the conversation to maximise their potential because of the nature of the subject?
Is it the quality of the contribution of all...
Highlighting and expanding upon quality contributions in conversations about performance and potential in the workplace is fundamental at Scuzi.
So often massive, meaningful contributions can come from the most unlikely sources of the workforce over a conversation.
At one Scuzi Cafe the conversation was on "Passion and Energy" in the workplace. Some amazing ideas came out of this Cafe and why passion and energy is so vital to company success and how it boosts staff performance and adds value to all that they do!
"Example is not the main thing in influencing others, it is the only thing" Albert Schweitzer
At another Scuzi Cafe we discussed "The Chemistry of Performance and Wellness in the Workplace”.

This Cafe was very well attended and all of us gained insights into the role and importance of nature/nurture, meaning and purpose in our lives, insights into how much this impacts on our wellness and performance in all areas of our lives and the buzz and excitement in the conversations was amazing!
The relevance and impact after a diagnostic and feedback session on a few of the attendees has been very significant and incredible!

"Success to me is not about money or status or fame, its about finding a livelihood that brings me joy and self-sufficiency and a sense of contributing to the world"
